For most of us, the holidays are a time when childhood is near to our memories and the world is a wondrous place. We hope to capture some of this joy and wonder in the music presented here. On this holiday journey the sacred and domestic, jubilant and solemn will appear. From the opening bars of "The Chipmunk Song," in which the childlike wonder of Christmas is forefront, to the final quiet bars of the whole collection, we aim to enfold all the many faces of this most special holiday season.
